Over the past four years D4D has developed a number of new products and technologies to address the functional limitations experienced by those living with long term conditions that particularly impact on the ability to live independently and with dignity.

D4D is able to buy out the time of clinicians and academics to work on projects and can provide small amounts of proof of concept funding to do initial work on early stage ideas. For more significant development work, the D4D team will work with the project inventor to identify and secure appropriate funding, such as via research grants.
